Upcoming Lithium Ion Batteries – Are You Ready? @ SCFA – 4

This lecture will provide a general overview of lithium-ion battery construction and technology.  Issues associated with lithium-ion battery damage and failure will be discussed as well as recommended initial response actions to lithium-ion emergencies. Hazards, safety, case studies, and lessons learned will be examined.
