PREREQUISITES: FIREFIGHTER 1 + 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE AFTER COMPLETING FF1, IS-700.
The Riverhead Fire Dept will host an Intro to Fire Officer course. The class is offered over a 6-week period and includes a written final exam.
Students MUST attend all sessions of this course. The text book utilized is IFSTA Fire and Emergency Services Company Officer (6th edition) and can be purchased from SCFA. Seats are limited and pre-registration is required. No walk-ins will be admitted. After your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with final instructions.
