Class Full Firefighter II – 24-3

The Firefighter II is a Hybrid course of classroom, self-paced sessions and hands-on training.

All sessions are conducted at SCFA.

Please note: Suffolk County departments take priority. Any other counties will automatically go to the wait list.

In addition to the classroom sessions, students are required to actively participate in online based training using the IFSTA ResourceOne learning management system. This course will require extensive self-study, reading and completion of homework assignments from the student. The text book for this course is IFSTA Essentials of Firefighting (7th edition). Upon successful registration, students will be provided with access information for the ResourceOne program and the course syllabus.

Seats are limited and pre-registration is required.

Prerequisites: Firefighter I + ICS200
