The Suffolk County Fire Academy will host a Firefighter I Course beginning Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
This course is a combination of Classroom Sessions, a Virtual Online Session, Self-Paced learning and Hands-On Training Sessions (HOT) held over a 15-week period culminating in a Practical Skills Exam and Written Final Exam .
Sessions 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 will be self-paced learning.
Students MUST attend all sessions of this course. Seats are limited and registration is required. No walk-ins will be admitted. After your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with final instructions.
Course Length: 110 Hours
Prerequisite: CPR, ICS 100*
Certificate: NYS, College Accredited
