The Suffolk County Fire Academy will host a Firefighter I Virtual Course beginning Tuesday, January 9th, 2024 at 7:00PM.
This course is for those who are unable to attend face to face classes held at regional training sites and are approved on a case by case basis.
For example: East End Departments, Fire Island Departments, College students.
The course is a combination of Classroom Sessions, Virtual, Self-Paced learning and Hands-On Training Sessions (HOT) held over a 15-week period culminating in a Practical Skills Exam and Written Final Exam .
Sessions 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 will be self-paced learning.
Students MUST attend all sessions of this course. Seats are limited and registration is required. No walk-ins will be admitted. After your registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with final instructions.
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN ON NOVEMBER 9th, 2023 AT 8:00 AM.
